Press Release: City of Saline Well 5 Repaired and Irrigation Pause Request Lifted by City

Saline, MI – Well #5 at the City of Saline Water Production Plant has been repaired and the previous request to reduce water usage is lifted.

“Together, our community reduced water usage by almost 20%,” said Acting City Manager Elle Cole. “This collective effort has kept our water system stable and ensured essential needs were met without disruption.”

After repairs were made to the well, two 24-hour tests were completed to ensure the reverse osmosis filters and other essential functions of our water system were all working properly. All test results were positive, and city staff are confident the well has been fully repaired.
